The logo for Temple Tantrum.

Temple Tantrum is an online weekly ARMS tournament series organized and created by Era. The series began in August of 2019 and is still having new events to this day.

Format

Similar to most weekly events, Temple Tantrum runs double elimination brackets, regardless of entrant count. Players utilize Era's Discord server to communicate with their opponents as the brackets are ran on Challonge, a site that lacks player-to-player chat functions.

Temple Tantrum utilizes the "Backroom" stage list which consists of the stages that are traditionally considered legal. These stages include Sparring Ring, Mausoleum, DNA Lab, Buster Beach, Temple Grounds, Scrapyard, and Via Dolce. The series was made to specifically use this stage list due to complaints of the stage list in one of Era's other tournament series, Champions of the Era.

Initially, Temple Tantrum was not region locked meaning that any player from any region was permitted to join. However, in early 2020, the series became region locked to North American players only. This allowed the event to be counted toward the North American Online ARMS Power Ranking without having other regions' players interfere with North American players' results.
