"Right now all eyes are locked on "the 'man' of mystery" and test tube titan...Helix! He's representing the famous ARMS Laboratories—the epicenter of all ARMS-based research. So just how will the result of a science experiment fare outside the lab?"
—Biff

Helix is a playable character in ARMS. He is a mysterious, stretchy being created by scientists at the ARMS Laboratory. He was announced on April 28th in a video on Nintendo's YouTube Channel.

Appearance

Helix is a translucent humanoid blob whose arms resemble models of DNA molecules. Out of the top of his head sprout hair-like protrusions that match the sugar-phosphate backbones of its DNA arms. If he has eyes, they are not visible under the mask he wears, which appears to be an array of small lights with two eye-like illuminated spots. He wears a harness that covers its chest and back.

Backstory

"An experiment by ARMS Laboratories, the leaders in ARMS research! In addition to his arms, his whole body is stretchy—and his signature ARMS are just as weird. He's secretly entered the Grand Prix to prove the merit of the lab's latest research!"

Regional Differences

Helix is known as DNAマン (deiienuee man, or DNA Man) in Japan.
