"Dr. Coyle's top-secret research facility at ARMS Laboratories. The conveyor belt that winds through the room—the one transporting all those unsettling test tubes—was installed to intentionally disturb visitors. Beyond the central fighting area, the doctor's many scientific awards and pet projects line the walls." —Official Description
[NAME REDACTED] is a stage in ARMS. It was released in Version 5.0.0 on December 22, 2017. It serves as the home stage of Dr. Coyle, a scientist with a mysterious and unsettling reputation. The stage is set within a high-tech laboratory, filled with tubes, blueprints, Monitors and various scientific inventions. It is the backdrop to Dr. Coyle's secretive experiments and a fitting arena for the scientist's eccentric personality.
Appearance
[NAME REDACTED] takes place in the ARMS Laboratories, a chaotic and high-tech research facility. The stage is cluttered with photos, blueprints, notes, and warning posters scattered around the stage, adding to the disorganized feel of the lab. Test tubes hang from the ceiling, moving through the arena toward an unknown destination.
In the center of the stage, a conveyor belt moves forward. Fighters standing on the conveyor belt are pushed forward, though they can walk or dash against it, or be carried to the end.
In the background, the stage is filled with pipes, cages, wires, monitors, and giant machines resembling coils. A prototype Hedlok can be seen in the distance, undergoing some form of maintenance, further emphasizing the lab’s focus on surveillance and technology.
Layout
The layout of [NAME REDACTED] consists of an elongated stage with four corners that are slightly elevated and accessible via a staircase. Players can spawn in the elevated corners, with opposite corners serving as a priority for spawning.
The stage’s centerpiece is a central conveyor belt, which runs along the long side of the stage. This conveyor belt is elevated to the same level as the corners, and there’s no ramp to climb up from the lower portions of the stage. The conveyor belt continuously moves fighters standing on it toward one end of the stage. However, players can dash or walk against the belt to resist its movement. Dr. Coyle, however, can float over it due to her unique abilities.
Along the conveyor belt, there are solid green tubes being carried by the belt. These tubes block normal and charged attacks, but they can be destroyed using Rush attacks or by throwing opponents into them with a grab.
