The ARMS Global Testpunch is a free online demo of ARMS that is scheduled to take place May 26 through June 4. It became available to download just after the ARMS Direct on May 17th, 2017.

Limitations

As the Testpunch serves as a demo, several restrictions are placed on players compared to the full game. The primary restrictions are that:

  • Players cannot use Kid Cobra, Twintelle, or Byte & Barq. However, these characters are shown in attraction clips, and the North American eShop page implies that they can be used.
  • The only available fighting stages are Spring Stadium, Ninja College, and DNA Lab. Ramen Bowl will be added for the second weekend.[1]
  • The only usable playstyles are standard battles and either V-Ball or Hoops, depending on the session.
  • Neither local multiplayer, Grand Prix, Get ARMS, nor Ranked Online are available for usage.
  • The game is only playable during twelve one-hour time slots.
