EVO Japan 2020 was a major fighting game tournament held on January 24th-26th 2020 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The tournament featured ARMS as a side event. The tournament was won by マイミニ with Shateau finishing in 2nd place and e-co finishing in 3rd place.

- EVO Japan 2020 was the first time ARMS was at EVO since EVO 2018 as either a main event or side event.
- EVO Japan 2020 is currently the latest offline ARMS tournament as all events that were planned to take place afterwards (Final Round 2020, Smash'N'Splash 6 etc) were cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
