This is a cool idea, but the plus shape has a lot of dead space around it. Maybe it's not necessary to visually represent each costume's position on the control stick, and just titling them Up, Down, Left, Right is enough? [[User:Gomtuu|Gomtuu]] ([[User talk:Gomtuu|talk]]) 15:47, 27 May 2017 (EDT)

If we standardize the file names for the costumes, the template doesn't need to have variables for imageu, imager, etc. I see you've already allowed for a automatic file names based on the fighter's name and the color, but we could go one step further and rename all the files Spring_Man_Default.jpg, Ninjara_Right.jpg, Mechanica_Left.jpg, and so on. Then we could make the template use the #ifexist parser function to display each file that exists for the given fighter. Just a thought! Plus Shape

This is a cool idea, but the plus shape has a lot of dead space around it. Maybe it's not necessary to visually represent each costume's position on the control stick, and just titling them Up, Down, Left, Right is enough? Gomtuu (talk) 15:47, 27 May 2017 (EDT)

File Names

If we standardize the file names for the costumes, the template doesn't need to have variables for imageu, imager, etc. I see you've already allowed for a automatic file names based on the fighter's name and the color, but we could go one step further and rename all the files Spring_Man_Default.jpg, Ninjara_Right.jpg, Mechanica_Left.jpg, and so on.
