Plus Shape

This is a cool idea, but the plus shape has a lot of dead space around it. Maybe it's not necessary to visually represent each costume's position on the control stick, and just titling them Up, Down, Left, Right is enough? Gomtuu (talk) 15:47, 27 May 2017 (EDT)

We could do that, sure. Nyargleblargle (talk) 16:19, 27 May 2017 (EDT)

File Names

If we standardize the file names for the costumes, the template doesn't need to have variables for imageu, imager, etc. I see you've already allowed for a automatic file names based on the fighter's name and the color, but we could go one step further and rename all the files Spring_Man_Default.jpg, Ninjara_Right.jpg, Mechanica_Left.jpg, and so on. Then we could make the template use the #ifexist parser function to display each file that exists for the given fighter. Just a thought! Gomtuu (talk) 16:00, 27 May 2017 (EDT)

That would be nice, but I'd like to have separate image variables just in case something arises. Nyargleblargle (talk) 16:19, 27 May 2017 (EDT)

Listing Up Color

I feel it's redundant to write the color of the character's default costume, as the other colors listed are based on what changed from the default design. Can we get rid of the {{{up}}} variable? Nyargleblargle (talk) 12:19, 28 May 2017 (EDT)

Including the default color name does make things more consistent, but I don't feel strongly about it either way. If we do remove the default color name, I think we should use style="vertical-align: top;" on the first cell to make the image line up with the others. Gomtuu (talk) 13:27, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
