'''Dr. Coyle''' is a playable fighter and the secondary antagonist in ''[[ARMS]]''. She was released in [[Version 5.0.0]] on December 22nd, 2017.

She seems to have history with [[Max Brass]], apparently knowing him on a personal level, although she now holds a grudge against him and seeks revenge for "things he said" to her. Dr. Coyle later overpowered Max Brass in the [[Grand Prix]] so that she could take on the challenger instead. Dr. Coyle is credited as being the creator of [[Helix]], [[Springtron]] and [[Hedlok]] (which she referred to as her "masterpiece"), as well as seemingly being responsible for [[Master Mummy]]'s reanimation.

Uniquely, Dr. Coyle does not have a [[jump]]. Instead, she levitates at all times and is able to increase her height with the jump button. This permits her to dash and guard at any height. She will be registered as being on the "ground" at any altitude; because of this, some weapons such as the [[Scorpio]] or [[Funchuk]] will always move out in the mode/form they are in when launched on the ground. In addition, she can briefly activate an additional ARM by charging for a long period of time. The ARM appears on a random shoulder of Dr. Coyle and matches the ARM immediately below it. Furthermore, she can temporarily disappear while moving freely, an ability activated by holding guard or getting up after being knocked down.

As of the [[Version 5.0.0]] update, '''Dr. Coyle''' is the true final boss of [[Grand Prix]] mode. When fought at Level 6 or higher as one of the 14 fighters other than Dr. Coyle herself, she will appear and knock [[Max Brass]] out, and the player will fight her instead. She summons [[Hedlok]] for another battle after the player defeats her. The Hedlok battle goes as normal. After she is defeated twice, Hedlok will deactivate. Dr. Coyle then takes off Hedlok, calls him "Useless!", and destroys him. Dr. Coyle says "I could've won" in frustration, then disappears, and Max Brass returns and flexes his muscles like in the ending for a lower difficulty, and the Awards Ceremony proceeds normally.  

Similarly to how [[Springtron]] and [[Max Brass]] appear in Grand Prix, Dr. Coyle is significantly stronger as a boss than she is as a playable fighter. She also possesses a stronger grab, dealing 200 damage. She gains an additional ARM on each side instead of just one. By attacking with four ARMS, she is able to attack every half second, rather than a full second like she does in normal gameplay.}}<br clear=left>

**Mechanica is the youngest female fighter, utilizing a fighter suit made of scrapyard technology. Dr. Coyle is the oldest female fighter, using advanced technology to grant herself the ARMS ability.
