Tuturoopa is an ARMS player from the United States who mains Byte & Barq. Although he initially played with Min Min during the first month following the release of ARMS, he later switched to Byte & Barq after finding the character more fun to play.
Tuturoopa discovered ARMS during its original reveal in the Nintendo Switch presentation and later participated in the Global Testpunch with friends, which ultimately convinced him to purchase the game. He entered competitive play after grinding Ranked mode and watching Twitch streams, eventually joining his first tournament—Schkrimps’ Mega League Monday—on September 11th, 2017. In his tournament debut, he unexpectedly won the event, which encouraged him to continue competing for fun. Despite his tournament success, Tuturoopa never considered himself a "serious" competitor. He primarily competed because he enjoyed the community and the experience of improving through Ranked and bracket play.
Tuturoopa was also connected to the SoCal ARMS scene during his competitive years. Although he was living on the Central Coast of California at the time rather than in Southern California, he remained involved with members of that regional community. Through Tuturoopa's dominate tournament performances and skill at the game, he was considered to be one of the best Byte & Barq players in North America.
Playstyle
Tuturoopa’s playstyle was primarily defensive and spacing-focused, using careful positioning and Barq’s mobility to control distance before shifting into pressure when necessary.

- Tururoopa currently works as a 3D artist with a bachelor’s degree in game design, specializing in character modeling and environment design, creating avatars and virtual worlds, and developing outfit mods for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
- His username comes from combining “Tuturu” and “Upa” from the anime Steins;Gate.
