Resolve is a former ARMS player from the United States who mains Spring Man. He was sponsored by Set to Destroy X alongside GoreMagala during the peak of his career and was widely regarded as one of the best ARMS players in the world. During his prime, Resolve was considered the best Spring Man player in the world.
Resolve became a prominent player during the early competitive ARMS scene, winning several online tournaments in 2017, including 2GGP: ARMS Circuit 2, multiple Mega League Monday events, and 2GGP: ARMS Circuit 4. He continued his success into 2018, most notably winning the official ARMS US & Canada Online Open hosted by Nintendo of America.
The ARMS US & Canada Online Open was one of Resolve’s most notable achievements. Only eight players qualified for the final tournament, where Resolve defeated Gryffical in a close Game 5 Grand Final to win the tournament. As the champion, he received special artwork signed by members of the ARMS development team, along with an additional signed piece from other members of the development team.
Resolve also had a strong performance at Winter Brawl 12, where he finished 2nd. He reached Grand Finals before falling short of first place, earning $328.60 for his runner-up finish, the largest single tournament payout of his ARMS career.
At EVO 2018, Resolve continued to perform well, finishing 7th–8th in the ARMS tournament. This was his final major tournament appearance for nearly two years. He returned to competition in April 2020 at the ARMS North American Online Open (April 2020), where he finished 5th before stepping away from the competitive ARMS scene.
Following his competitive gaming career, Resolve moved into voice acting and ADR writing. He has worked on a number of anime and other projects, including Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Cells at Work!, Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS, Captain Tsubasa: Junior Youth Arc, and Pokémon: Paldean Winds. He has also provided English voices for Champion Blue in Pokémon Masters and Arven in Pokémon: Paldean Winds, with his role as Arven marking the character's first English voice performance.
Although Resolve is no longer active in competitive ARMS, he remains an important figure from the game's early competitive era. His tournament victories, strong performances at major events, official Nintendo championship, and time competing with Set to Destroy X helped establish him as one of the most successful ARMS players of the game's early years.
