Pega is a Japanese Max Brass player from the Kanto region in Japan who was the best player in the world during the time he was active, and is still widely regarded as the greatest player of all time. Within the Japanese community, Pega was known as Kotei, meaning Emperor, earning him the title as the Emperor of ARMS.
Pega became known for his dominant tournament performances, remaining undefeated in major tournaments for an extended time, even when challenged by the best players from the Western scene. Pega is known for his frequent use of double Nades, and takes full advantage of their potential for pressure and zoning during his matches.
Pega stopped competing in ARMS in 2019, after which he briefly transitioned to competitive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. During 2019, he competed as a Lucina main before stepping away from Smash in 2020.
In 2023, Pega made a surprising return to ARMS by competing at EVO Japan 2023, in which he got first place. Shortly after this appearance, he deleted all of his social media accounts. Since then, Pega has had no known public involvement with the ARMS community, and his current whereabouts and activities remain unknown.
