Patita is an Honduran ARMS player who mains Mechanica. During his prime, he was considered to be one of the best Mechanica players in North America.
Patita was introduced to ARMS shortly after its release when his older brother purchased a Nintendo Switch and picked up the game during its launch period. With few games available at the time, he began playing alongside his brother and quickly became hooked, soon playing on a daily basis. Not long after, he joined various ARMS Discord communities, which became his entry point into the broader competitive scene.
Patita began playing ARMS competitively approximately two years after the game’s release. He first became involved through the Casual ARMS Discord, entering casual events such as Casual Crashes, and gradually met more established competitive players through those interactions. Outside of competition, Patita was a member of the Polaris crew during its active period and later joined Fruit Punch before it disbanded. Patita still to this day has the “FP” tag in some of his usernames as a personal keepsake.
In 2021, Patita stepped away from competitive ARMS. He has cited university responsibilities as the primary reason, balancing a demanding academic workload with a scholarship that required significant work hours. This limited his available time to play, and following the disbanding of Fruit Punch, his interest in the game gradually faded. Patita is also nearing graduation as a digital animator and interactive designer, working as a 3D generalist artist and aspiring game developer. He is largely disconnected from the current ARMS scene but acknowledges the efforts of remaining community members who continue to support the game.
Playstyle
Patita’s playstyle with Mechanica was highly adaptive, focusing on reading opponents and developing counterplay over the course of a set. This approach often made him stronger in later rounds, earning him a reputation as a “round three player” who became more dangerous the longer a match went on.
