Karuru is a Japanese ARMS player who mains Dr. Coyle. He is widely known in Japan for his strong results in tournaments and is considered one of the top Dr. Coyle players in the country.

Karuru began playing ARMS after his parents purchased the game for him. What stood out to him early on was how simple the controls felt while still allowing for strategy, reads, and many different ARM setups, which led him to stay invested in the game.

Karuru started playing competitively around 2021 and has steadily become a stronger presence in the Japanese scene. His notable results include a 5th-place finish at EVO Japan 2023, as well as a first-place finish at the Hyper Poko Cup hosted by POKOYAN.

Karuru chose Dr. Coyle as his main character after being influenced by top Japanese Dr. Coyle player Shateau. He often uses the red Dr. Coyle color variant as a nod of respect to Akadaruma. Outside of competition, Karuru stays active within the ARMS community and is known for being approachable, frequently offering help and advice to other players who are looking to improve.
