Hebirote (commonly known as Hebi outside of Japan) is an ARMS player from Japan who mains Kid Cobra. In his prime, was widely regarded as one of the best Kid Cobra players in Japan and in the world. He was especially known for for his use of Kid Cobra’s movement options and a Clapback-focused playstyle.
Throughout his competitive career, Hebirote achieved success across numerous tournaments, regularly placing highly and establishing himself as a standout figure in the ARMS competitive scene. His performances earned him a strong reputation both within Japan and internationally.
Hebirote began playing ARMS in June 2018, after being introduced to the game while visiting a friend’s home. Initially drawn in by the game’s motion controls, he quickly became invested and continued playing after acquiring both a Nintendo Switch and the game from that friend. While motion controls were his preferred method early on, he later transitioned to using a Pro Controller.
His first competitive experience came at ARMS Japan Grand Prix 2018, an official Nintendo-hosted event. Following this tournament, Hebirote entered the ARMS community more seriously and began participating in online tournaments, regional events, and larger community-run tournaments.
One of his most notable achievements was placing 1st at SAVE_ARMS 2020: Week 3, which is widely regarded as one of his standout tournament victories. His final major offline appearance came at EVO Japan 2020, which he has cited as his greatest personal achievement as a player.
In 2021, Hebirote joined the Love Crew ARMS team. Although the team disbanded later that same year, this period marked one of the final chapters of his competitive career.
Playstyle
Hebirote was especially known for his unique movement options with Kid Cobra. He often made use of the Clapback to zone out opponents.
