Deletion

The page you recently deleted should have been discussed before deletion. It is a file redirect, which is usually discouraged, but it was created intentionally, and as it isn't vandalism, should at least have its merits considered. Nyargleblargle (talk) 11:45, 28 June 2017 (EDT)

Rollback warning

You incorrectly used the rollback feature; it should be only used to undo a series of vandal edits, while the changes made by IncredibleMeh were in good faith. Please try to keep the proper use of rollback in mind in the future. Nyargleblargle (talk) 21:22, 1 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I didn't know we had that distinction :/ --Raltseye prata med mej 21:59, 1 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Reason for revision rollback?

I've just noticed that the changes I made to the frame data table were rolled back a few days ago. While in the interest of cooperation I am willing to accept the decision to revert the changes I made, I can only reasonably do so with an explanation as to why those changes aren't appropriate. The reversion was made with no explanation as to why the changes were a problem and this behavior acts as an obstacle towards contributors being able to work with one another to the fullest.

The changes that I made to the frame data table were done so because the information was not conveyed in a way that was consistent with the developer's understanding of mechanics or to how the community perceives this information, and was not concise enough to be used in a useful manner.

Yes, I was a little hasted when I reverted that edit. Sorry about that. I actually don't know for sure what your edit did, I just saw expression error in the table on a random page that used that template and assumed that your edit messed up the table. I realise in hindsight that it might not be the case. You are very free to revert my reversion if you see fit. Once again, I'm sorry, I should have explained in my edit summary why I did that. --Raltseye prata med mej 17:59, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Re: Edit

That was me counter-trolling a vandal who repeatedly added "he is gay" to the end of the opening paragraph, and I was basically saying "I'm going to pretend I don't know what you really mean, and then revise your edit for added accuracy." You can leave it off, but I suspect he'll be back for round 3 at some point... --24.212.154.197 17:21, 12 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In which case we'll block him. --Raltseye prata med mej 05:48, 13 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Re: To Do

I tried both of your suggestions, alone and in combination. None of them worked. The home page continues to fail to display the latest News item for me, while also displaying three items that have been moved below the line of what should be there. --24.212.154.197 15:48, 18 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hm, weird, it works fine for me logged in. But not in incognito mode. Have you tried logging in? --Raltseye prata med mej 16:27, 18 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't have an account to log in with, and needing one is pretty clearly neither the intended behavior for that widget, nor something that should be required to properly view an open wiki. Edit, maybe, but not simply view. --24.212.154.197 18:58, 18 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I know I was just asking. Anyway, I have reported this to our technical support, let's hope they can fix this as soon as possible. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. --Raltseye prata med mej 19:20, 18 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It should work by opening this link. https://armswiki.org/wiki/Home?action=purge --Raltseye prata med mej 02:38, 19 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's actually fixed now without having to use that link. Thanks! --18:31, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
Great! --Raltseye prata med mej 19:09, 19 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
