Electric

From ARMS Institute, the ARMS Wiki

Electric is one of the eight ARM Attributes. When charged, ARMS with the Electric attribute have the effect of disabling a fighter's ARMS, sharply lowering their movement speed and rendering them unable to throw punches for a short period. Fighters who are electrocuted glow blue and are surrounded by electric sparks.[1] In most cases, ARMS with the Electric attribute don't deal any additional damage when charged.

List of Electric ARMS

There are seven ARMS with the Electric attribute, making it the second most common attribute in the game next to Fire. Six of these were available at launch, and the seventh, the Parabola, was added in Version 5.0.0.

  Guardian   Megawatt   Parabola   Revolver
  Seekie   Sparky   Thunderbird

The Electric effect can also be given by an explosion from a Shock Bomb.

Electric duration is 1.25 seconds for Megawatt, Revolver, Sparky, and Thunderbird and 1.75 seconds for Seekie and Guardian.

Strategy

Electric ARMS carry a very powerful effect - near complete paralysis. Though unlike most other attributes, they don't add any extra damage, affected fighters will instead be unable to punch or block, and their movement almost (but not completely) nonexistent. The uses of such attacks are obvious, as this basically leaves the opponent open for pretty much anything, though the most optimal reaction is simply to always grab (Or Rush.), as once a fighter is electrocuted, the next hit will make them fall, lowering the combo potential. Regardless of these slight downfalls, Electric is a very consistent and useful ability.
