EVO Japan 2020 was a major fighting game tournament held on January 24th-26th 2020 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The tournament featured ARMS as a side event. The tournament was won by マイミニ with Shateau finishing in 2nd place and e-co finishing in 3rd place.

- EVO Japan 2020 was the first time ARMS was at EVO since EVO 2018 as either a main event or side event.
- EVO Japan 2020 is currently the latest offline ARMS tournament as all events that were planned to take place afterwards (Final Round 2020, Smash'N'Splash 6, etc.) were cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
