Dendy
Dendy is an ARMS player from the United States who mains Master Mummy and is sponsored by IlluZion Gaming. He is considered one of the world's premiere Mummy users alongside Gryffical. Dendy may have one of the most outwardly notable or recognizable personalities among the competitive ARMS community, being generally known for having a down-to-earth and very outwardly friendly disposition. He is also well known for going to events wearing a unique luchador mask and bandana to conceal his appearance at all times. Very few people have gotten the rare occasion to see his true face in person.

Dendy first discovered ARMS upon its initial announcement in a Nintendo Switch Presentation on January 12th, 2017. He and his high school friends were excited to become top players for the game's competitive community, but in the end, only Dendy fulfilled this dream. After its announcement, he preordered the game and immediately fell in love with it. For a time, Dendy joined the crew OwO League Gaming where he was their only ARMS player. Said crew was made up of members of the Jigglypuff Discord server and wasn't exactly a serious endeavor. Soon after that crew, Dendy created The Mummy Fam (abbreviated as TMF) which was a crew consisting solely of Master Mummy mains, with that being the only requirement for being a member. In October of 2017, he joined Team Chroma (abbreviated as TCM) and climbed the ranks of the team overtime, even becoming an admin of their Discord server. His experience on the team let his name be known and showed that he was a strong opponent in battle.
An iconic moment for which Dendy is well known came at Smash'N'Splash 4, on June 1st-3rd in 2018, while facing off against Japanese Twintelle player ABU, who was known at the time for frequent pop-offs after victories. His own energy matched ABU's as the both of them celebrated their victories after each match. This generated an atmosphere not unlike that of professional wrestling, and was even so exciting as to inspire fanart. Later in the year, Dendy began running ARMS locals in Texas at a variety of venues. He also held ARMS side events at a regional called Ultimatum for many years, though was not able to run it in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In August 2018, Dendy contacted Illuzion Gaming to see if they had an interest in recruiting members of the ARMS scene. To his surprise, the team responded in the affirmative and even accepted Dendy as their first ARMS player. He has happily remained a member of the team since then. Later that August, Dendy parted ways with Team Chroma.
Dendy is also recognized for his status and interactions with one of the ARMS community's largest forums, ARMS Central. Initially, he was simply a jokester who frequented the server. One meme, taken to a further extent, was the creation of a shortly lived server known as "Better ARMS Central" that was quickly overridden with memes and other miscellaneous content. Despite his funny start, Dendy was eventually asked to join the moderation team, something that took him off guard, but also that he took seriously. His goal was to be an apt moderator while also being calm and kind to other server members. In late Summer 2018, Dendy became the server owner after a stress-inducing period of drama involving a recent community debacle. Soon he promoted Era to an admin, as well as the server co-owner, and brought it closer to a state of peace. In June of 2022, Dendy organized and ran Anniversary Armageddon to celebrate the fifth anniversary of ARMS. In The Appetizer portion of the event, he was slated to take part in a grudge match against Era titled "The Battle of the Admins" though due to personal matters Era could not participate so the set was not played.
Playstyle
Dendy originally solely utilized a set consisting of the Roaster and Thunderbird, but he eventually expanded his ARMS horizons. Overtime he became acquainted with the Nade, Popper, Funchuk, Toaster, Bubb, Phoenix, Hydra, Biffler, Triblast, Megawatt, and Chakram. His ties to Master Mummy are strong, though on extremely rare occasions he has also been seen using Lola Pop.

Trivia
- Dendy created the logos for Default Derby and all events within Anniversary Armageddon including Default Derby Deluxe.
- Dendy proudly loves Whataburger.
- Dendy is well known for his pop offs at offline events.
- His powerful hugs are also well renowned. A particularly notable hug would be with Steelhead at Smash Out 2018 where Dendy "almost broke Steelhead's back". At Smash'N'Splash 5 many members of the ARMS scene were cautiously alert of Dendy's arrival as to avoid a surprise hug. Their efforts were unsuccessful.
- The tag "Dendy" comes from a Russian bootleg console of the same name. The secondary name “Molotov” was chosen simply for its cool factor.
- Some community members refer to Dendy as "Mummy Daddy" in obvious reference to his main Master Mummy.
- The “Dendy Grab” is an uncharged punch leading into a grab. This term originates from Dendy often doing so several times to his opponents.
- Dendy's current mask is his second mask. His older one was unfortunately stolen during a break-in in 2018.
- Dendy is a video game collector with a massive collection of over 1000 games.
